Well Scoutabout seems to have ciome to an end. The weather today has been fantastic, I finally saw Stuart but not Ange, spent some time in the Admin area after my control room shift and even got to go to the closing ceremony.
The radio station seems to be winding up here now and the stage in the main areana has nearly gone, the admin staff seem quite relaxed and all seem to be having a good time. I believe that they have processed over 5000 health forms, replaced some arm bands (they didnt have to replace mine) and the pile of lost property is quite big but I think that the Jamboree one would have been slightly bigger.
Today has been quite subduded to be honest I didnt do much this morning I had a sleep for a coupl eof hours before joining the guys back in the control room. Doug came and found me later this afternoon and took me out to the Areana where there were hundreds of Scout and Guide Flags that paradede through and round the Scouts and Guides there was lots of music and some speaches, then they all departed and we came into the Admin area where I met everyione that had been dealing with all the weekend paperwork.
It was then that I saw Stuart, he insulted me by calling me a Teddy but he did give me a big hug to make up for it. He was looking a bit burnt from the sun I think he was in the sun to long today but dont tell himn yet as he might not know.
Well Scoutabout is nearly over and Ive met so many new people as well as seeing some friendly old faces. Next big stop will be Kandersteg where I will get a chance to see Andy, Rachel, Stuart, Doug, Tony, Nick, Mike and so many other people. I cant wait. I wish it was sooner than next summer but Im sure that I will keep busy in the mean time.

Scoutabout 08: Night Shift
Well its starting to get bright outside so I guess that means that the night shift is slowly coming to an end. The night has been quite good there have been three of us wandering about this evening making sure that nobody else is about, seems a bit pointless to me but dont tell anyone I said that. Not much happened we wandered about all night and stopped every so often to say hello to some of the others and also for some coffe back here in the control room.

Scoutabout 08: Control Tower
Well this weekend I have decided that since there maybe a few of the Unit at Scoutabout I would attend just to keep an eye on them all and also keep you all up to date with what I have been up to.
Today I have been very busy infact this is one of my first breaks of the day and Ive managed to find myself a quiet corner of the control here in the Norfolk Building at Scoutabout. Today Ive spent the day with my close friend Rachel in making sure that all the Surrey Scouta nd Guides are being well looked after by all of the Stewards and other staff that are running the event for them all.
My job today has been manning the control room and telling all the humans what they have to do and where they have to roam around the site. Its been good fun, although its been so busy that Ive not as yet had a chance to chat to too many people. Ange, Phil and Stuart are all here as is Doug but I havent really seen them at all and although Ive seen some friendly faces, Jenni who took me to Kandersteg is here, some of the others have been quite natsy to me and have done horrible things to me today but Im fine.
Ive seen bothe Phil and Doug so far both are very bright in there yellow jackets, Phil has even promised to take me out with him on his night patrol so I will fill you in on how that goes. Ange and Stuart are both on site but I havent seen them they are both here with their units so are very busy somewhere else on the site. Stuart did pop up to see me thgis morning (I heard his voice chatting to some of the Stewards) but I was too busy in the control room so didnt have a chance to see him. I also believe that despite having something in her belly Ange is well too.
Right better go and get some food and a sleep before the night shift starts

Arthur Move Over
Today I showed how good a king I am and have decided that I am going to take over at the top of Arthur Guiness' company Guiness after we all went to the storehouse, Im also going to send the management of the Jail in Dublin to Jail as they wouldnt let me in.
This morning after breakfast and strapped to Richards front we made our way to the tram and the Guiness store house. What a fantastic place, I started a brew, drank some Guiness, and even bought myself a hat.
Afterwards we tried to go to the Gaol (or Jail) but they didnt let us in but we had a nice walk anyway.
This evening they have all gone out and left me, not quite sure where they have gone but they all went out dressed up in shirts and ties, looked like fun. However Im sat here guarding the dorms. Hope that they wont be too late back as its quite quiet round here without them all.

Long Run
Today Ive had a very exhausting day.
The young people found a big field next to the park and decided to play sopme rugby to prove that they were still the best at the sport. Dont think Damian had a chance to win really but they complained about everyone that kicked like they did the night before. I sat on my throne and watched them all doing different things over there early break.
After the break we set off still sat on my throne I get to see the coast line whilst chatting away to the Irish Scouts that had joined us for the day. The coast line was so beautiful and there was so many people walking past us, some even stopped to say hello to me.
The walk was fantastic. afrerwards we sat down to rest and have some lunch before I hit the Amusment Arcade in Bray to see if I could win some Euro. Didnt have much luck though.
After breakfast we headed off to Tara Street and met up with 7 members of a Irish Adventure Unit and took a train trip down the coast. That was great fun. Then Doug and Stuart made us all get off and walk back to the previous stop. The leaders werent quite sure where we were going but I was good and helped them find the way to the costal path.

Dublin Tour
I arrived in Dublin and have managed to get a whole top bunk to myself in a room with Doug, Phil and Stuart. We have a nice view out of the window over the courtyard at the back of the hostel.
Dublin seems to be amazing, we spent an hour or so going round on the bus seeing all the sights. Doug spoilt the tour a bit trying to out smart the guide by telling us what things were, I guess that he had done it before.
There is just so much here I just hope that I get to see some of it properly. Pheniox Park looks amazing although a bit backwards as they still have gas lighting, Doug says its the only place in North City that has a even postcode because the premier lives there.
This evening I sat with all of the others and watched dissapointed as England lost the rugby to South Africa. All of the unit were upset (apart from Damian, cos he's South African, but I wont hold it against him.
This afternoon has once again been very busy, as my life always appears to be. As normal Ive been passed from piller to post with everyone once again wanting to look after me. We all went on a tour of Dublin some of the time I spent on Anges backpack looking towards the back so only saw the opposite of everyone else. However once I claimed the back seat of the tour bus I was able to see everything in my new Kingdom.
